Title:  Bilingual Senior Lending Officer

General Description:  Responsible for approving consumer loan applications and underwriting consumer loans.

Functions include: Processing and approving loans in compliance with federal regulations and credit union lending policies.  You will be responsible for assessing risk on potential member loans and recommending new loans to the Consumer Loan Director.  This presents an exciting opportunity for a talented, self-directed, motivated candidate to work in a creative and collaborative team environment.

To qualify, you must have a minimum of 4 years experience in risk-based lending at a financial institution.  Advanced degree education preferred.  Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, primarily Excel and Word.  You must be fluent in Spanish and have excellent written and oral communication skills.

You will have a proven track-record of successful loan underwriting, be self-motivated and possess strong people skills, with a positive, can-do attitude.  The position reports to the Consumer Loan Director.
