What change are we making?
Beginning January 1, 2007, you will not be charged a 50-cent ATM transaction fee as long as you maintain an average aggregate balance of $300 in all of your accounts (savings, share and investment accounts) and you use one of the 25,000 CO-OP Network ATM locations for your transaction.
What does 'average aggregate balance' & 'all of your accounts' mean?
You may have money in more than one account (accounts must be in the same account number - we do not combine totals from multiple account numbers) with us. If you do, we will total all of those accounts to see if you maintained at least the $300 minimum average aggregate balance. We will include your share savings account, your share draft and any investment account, such as a share Certificate of Deposit. This makes it much easier for you to maintain that $300 average aggregate balance.
How do you calculate 'average aggregate balance'?
At the end of the month add all of the totals in all of your savings, checking and investment accounts for the end of each day in that month. Divide that grand total by the number of days in that month to arrive at the average aggregate balance.
How many free transactions do I get each month?
You get an unlimited number of free transactions. All you have to do is maintain a total average aggregate balance of $300 for your accounts and use one of our 25,000 CO-OP Network ATMs.
What if my balance drops below $300?
As long as the average aggregate at the end of the month is more than $300, you will not be charged an ATM transaction fee the next month.
How can I make sure that my balance stays above $300?
The easiest way is to save $300. It will accrue interest and you'll be assured of maintaining an average aggregate balance of $300.
What if my average aggregate minimum balance is below $300?
You will be charged the same 50-cent fee at our CO-OP Network ATMs and $1.00 fee at non-CO-OP Network ATMs. If you are currently using non-CO-OP Network ATMs, take a moment to find a CO-OP location ear you.
